A tail as long as its body. And a definite sense of style.
Malapascua, a small island north of Cebu, is one of the rare places in the world where you're almost guaranteed to meet the thresher shark. It rises from the depths at dawn to get cleaned on the reef, with big eyes made for the night. The alarm goes off early. Nobody regrets it.
The mood: the tee for dawn departures, lukewarm coffee in hand, and for getting back to the island while everyone else is barely awake. White sand, palm trees, and the feeling that you've already lived the best part of the day.
The Vibe: Thresher Dawn & Island Life.
The Design: black engraving, travel-sketchbook style. The thresher shark and its ribbon tail, the ray gliding over the corals, the island and its palm trees on the horizon.
