A story of water, t-shirts and an otter...

Salty Breath Society was born out of a shared passion: diving.

Vanessa and I (Fabrice) have spent years diving into the blue, holding our breath, searching for that perfect moment of silence where the world stops.

Freediving is much more than a sport. It's a philosophy. It's learning to let go, to trust the current, to slow down in a world that moves too fast.

One day, between two dives, we thought: "What if we created something that celebrates this way of life?" Not just a clothing brand, but a tribe. A place where freedivers, ocean lovers, and dreamers of the deep blue recognize each other.

Salty Breath Society is that. An invitation to breathe differently.

Why Flow the otter?

our mascot

We decided our mascot would be called Flow. This is no coincidence.
The otter perfectly embodies our philosophy:

  • It dives gracefully.
  • It plays in the water.
  • It floats on its back, carried by the current.

It doesn't force anything. It flows.

Like us in freediving, Flow masters its breathing and resurfaces when the time is right. It lives in harmony with the ocean, without dominating it.
And above all, otters are indicators of ecosystem health. Taking care of them means taking care of our playground.

"Slow dive, good vibes. Trust the flow." — That's the otter spirit.

The Founders

Vanessa & Fabrice

Vanessa — Soul of the Ocean
A passionate instructor and freediver, she descends into the depths as if returning home. With bated breath, her connection to the water embodies the very essence of Salty Breath and inspires the brand every day.

Fabrice — The Operational Octopus
A former scuba diver, he traded bubbles for the silence of a deep breath. Today, he is the "8-armed octopus" of operations: designs, website, logistics... A creative dreamer and the backstage artisan who ensures your package arrives safely.
