A story of water, t-shirts… and otters
Salty Breath Society was born from a shared passion: diving.
Vanessa and I spent years descending into the blue, holding our breath, searching for that perfect moment of silence where the world stops.
Freediving is much more than a sport. It's a philosophy. It's learning to let go, to trust the flow, to slow down in a world that moves too fast.
One day, between dives, we said to ourselves: what if we created something that celebrates this way of life? Not just a clothing brand, but a tribe. A place where freedivers, ocean lovers, and dreamers of the deep blue recognize each other.
That's what Salty Breath Society is all about. An invitation to breathe differently.

Why the otter?
The otter is the animal that perfectly embodies our philosophy.
She dives gracefully, she plays in the water, she swims on her back, letting herself be carried by the current. She forces nothing. She flows.
Like us when freediving, the otter controls its breathing, holds its breath, and rises to the surface when the time is right. It lives in harmony with the ocean, without dominating it.
And above all, it represents water protection. Otters are an indicator of the health of aquatic ecosystems. Taking care of them means taking care of our playground.

Vanessa & Fabrice
We are Vanessa and Fabrice.
Vanessa is the mermaid of Salty Breath. The one who lives underwater, who descends into the blue and only resurfaces when necessary. A lifelong freediving enthusiast, she embodies the essence of the brand. Every design, every message, every vibe: everything stems from her deep connection with the ocean.
Fabrice is like an eight-armed octopus. The conductor who runs the show, manages orders, optimizes the website, answers messages, and makes sure everything runs smoothly. If Vanessa is the soul of Salty Breath, Fabrice is its engine.
Together, we form a team that breathes underwater and dreams above.
